    When I got the call to do the miami casting for Ocho Cinco's show I struggled internally with either  "getting that check" or  casting for some thing that is against my beliefs, I have old fashion beliefs that women should not be competing for any man's love in a house with 10 other chicks, it makes us look chicken head-ish. For those of you that dont know, i'm known for defending how ethnic women are portrayed in the media.
     
     So after sleeping on the decision I decided, to go ahead and do the casting because I know chad and he's not the type that would degrade the girls the show would be all in fun and entertainment and its not like he's flava flav somebody that girls wouldn't really date (which in my opinion is part of what makes it boofanery) girls would actually date chad in real life. I've known Chad for about 5 years and know the type of women he dates so this will be easy!

    I happened to get a call to cast a Drake video the same day, so I'm thinking ok great I can kill 2 birds with one stone, the type of girls in the videos-curvy black and latin girls are the same type of girls Chad usually dates. Anybody in miami and cincinnatti knows that Chad dates mostly black girls with a sprinkle here of other ethnicities.
     
     So on with the casting! The casting was packed about 200 girls everybody in line for the Drake casting, only a few in line for the Ocho Cinco casting, so now  I'm confused? I start asking girls that I know are chad's type why aren't they going in the other studio for his casting. The type of chicks he likes aint really trying to go on no damn "for the love of" show!
    So after talking to some of the girls I tell them the type of guy Chad is and that I'm sure this show wont be degrading but more just for fun and entertainment. 
    I end up with a good amount of girls that actually look like chicks I hv seen him date- mostly black girls. So I make my notes and suggestions and send the casting link off to the main casting director in LA. They hit me back with only 5 girls they wanted to interview.  So now i'm thinking something is up, why arent they interviewing any of the girls i suggested, i'm sure Chad told them to reach out to me because I know what he likes and I have a reputation for casting some of the finest chicks in the country.
     I've been casting for 10yrs now and know how  it goes, I thought to myself ooooh they must not want the show to be "too black". Yeah thats a term that is used in tv land.
     
     Meanwhile Chad is taping dancing with the stars this entire time so he's not involved in the casting process at all.  As soon as DWTS ends time for chad to show up to start taping his show, his first time seeing any of the girls was the first day of taping!! He does what the producers tell him to do, they producers already know which girls are good for tv because they were holding extensive interviews the whole time Chad was doing DWTS. So on that clip board they handed him the names and numbers of the girls the producers casted for the show was already listed.
     
     The show is not real! its casted, Chad is paid talent to play a role on a show. Trust me I've never seen him date any girls that look like the girls that were casted for that show except for maybe Rubi for 1-he likes to pursue not be pursued 2-the type of chicks he REALLY likes in REAL life werent even casted.
     
    So he's being judged on whether or not he likes blk women based off of a fake ass scripted, casted reality show? Yall are really out of touch with reality and have no knowledge of how tvland works. If we printed a log off all the girls Chad has dated in REAL life it would shut everybody up.
     
    Me being a black woman myself and a woman that fights for the rights of ethnic women to be represented in the media in a non-degrading light, I admit I would have been pissed off too IF 1- I wasn't a casting director and knows what really goes down behind the scenes with the network execs and   2- IF I didn't know chad personally and have seen with my own eyes the type of chicks he dates on a regular in REAL life, but I know the difference between whats real and whats a fake ass scripted reality show . So my mind is a little more open than most.

    Being under contract with the network I know for a fact he can only say so much. He can't get on national tv and internet and say mannnnn I like blk and latin chicks with fat asses and I wouldn't date none of these chicks on this show! I'm sure he is getting a fat ass check and they hv a show to sell, he is under contract and they would sue the mess out of him. So to say "I love everybody" and "its called preference is "the politically correct thing to say at this time. Everybody is calling him sell out,  but most of yall do what the hell yall jobs tell yall to do and shut yall damn mouth for way less $$$.
